Choose scenarios relevant to business dependencies and current risks. Agree participants, authorisation, objectives and observation criteria, then prepare injects or campaign materials appropriate to the exercise.
Facilitated exercise
Executive decisions, incident command, communications and recovery coordination
Run the agreed exercise and observe actions, escalation and communication. Capture decisions and dependencies without disrupting production beyond the expressly approved scope.
Debrief & improvement plan
Observed decision gaps, revised playbooks and assigned improvement actions
Debrief with participants, compare observations with objectives and identify process or skill gaps. Assign improvement owners and propose follow-up practice to check that changes are understood and workable.
